Jazz has been a lifelong passion; photographing in a club was the first thing we did with our new 35mm camera in 1968. Since then hundreds of musicians from around the world have passed before our lenses. Our photographs appear regularly in Downbeat and other major publications, on CDs and on websites. In 2005, Jack received the Jazz Journalists Association Lona Foote-Bob Parent Excellence in Photography Award. As with our other interests, we emphasize both the American and the international aspect of the art in our photographs.
