Our Asian Music & Dance Gallery (as well as the Caribbean/Mexican/Latin American Gallery below) is really a number of mini-galleries-in-one. As you’ll see when you browse through it, the Gallery is arranged in geographic order. Various artists from China, India, Japan, Java, Korea, and Taiwan follow one another to hint at the variety of performing arts and artists our Asian archives encompass. The depth of that variety, however, isn’t as apparent since we haven’t included samples of Balinese or Cambodian dancers, Japanese Noh and Kabuki, Tuvan Throat-Singers or Vietnamese Water-Puppets, all of which - and more - we offer in abundance.
